Culture Capacity Diagnostic (CCD) Policy

Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Sunshine Matter is committed to creating a focused, prepared, and high-value experience for every Culture Capacity Diagnostic engagement. Because each Diagnostic reserves dedicated professional capacity and requires preparation in advance of the scheduled session, the following booking, payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms apply.

Investment and Payment

The investment for the Culture Capacity Diagnostic is $2,500.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your scheduled Diagnostic.

Of the $2,500 amount paid, $625, representing 25% of the total service fee, is designated as a nonrefundable Booking and Preparation Amount. This amount reflects the reservation of Sunshine Matter’s professional capacity and preliminary preparation associated with the engagement.

The $625 Booking and Preparation Amount is included within—not added to—the $2,500 Culture Capacity Diagnostic fee.

Cancellation With at Least 72 Hours’ Notice

If you cancel your Culture Capacity Diagnostic at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time shown in your booking confirmation, Sunshine Matter will refund $1,875 of the $2,500 payment.

The $625 Booking and Preparation Amount will be retained and is nonrefundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Late Cancellation

If you cancel less than 72 hours before your scheduled start time, 50% of the Culture Capacity Diagnostic fee will be retained.

For a $2,500 booking:

• $1,250 will be retained by Sunshine Matter.

• $1,250 will be refunded to you.

The retained amount includes, rather than adds to, the $625 Booking and Preparation Amount.

Complimentary Rescheduling

You may reschedule your Culture Capacity Diagnostic one time at no additional charge when the rescheduling request is received at least 72 hours before your scheduled start time.

Your original $2,500 payment will transfer to the new scheduled date.

The rescheduled appointment is subject to Sunshine Matter’s available appointment times.

Late Rescheduling

A request to reschedule received less than 72 hours before the scheduled start time is considered a late rescheduling request.

If Sunshine Matter agrees to the late rescheduling request, a $625 late-rescheduling charge will apply before the new appointment is confirmed.

This charge is separate from the original $2,500 Culture Capacity Diagnostic payment because the originally reserved appointment time was no longer available for another client.

Additional Rescheduling Requests

Only one complimentary reschedule is included.

A second or subsequent rescheduling request may be treated as a cancellation and new booking.

Sunshine Matter may make exceptions in its discretion when circumstances warrant.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your scheduled Culture Capacity Diagnostic and have not provided advance notice, the appointment will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are nonrefundable, and the full $2,500 payment will be retained, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Scheduling another Culture Capacity Diagnostic following a no-show requires a new booking and payment unless Sunshine Matter agrees otherwise in writing.

Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances

Sunshine Matter recognizes that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances can occur.

Sunshine Matter may, in its discretion, waive or modify a cancellation or rescheduling charge when circumstances warrant. Any exception made in one situation does not modify this Policy or create an obligation to make the same exception in another situation.

If Sunshine Matter Must Reschedule or Cancel

If Sunshine Matter needs to reschedule your Culture Capacity Diagnostic, you will be offered an alternative available appointment at no additional charge.

If Sunshine Matter cancels the engagement and you do not wish to reschedule, you will receive a full refund of the $2,500 amount paid.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.

The time required for a refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment processor, financial institution, card issuer, or other factors outside Sunshine Matter’s control.

Scope and Results

The Culture Capacity Diagnostic is a focused professional consulting engagement designed to provide analysis, insight, prioritization, and recommendations based on the information available during the engagement.

The Diagnostic does not guarantee any particular financial, operational, organizational, cultural, leadership, employee, market, or other business result.

Work requested outside the stated scope of the Culture Capacity Diagnostic may require a separate engagement and additional fees.

Intellectual Property and Your Deliverables

Upon Sunshine Matter’s receipt of full payment, you will own the final deliverables created specifically for your organization and expressly identified as client deliverables for the Culture Capacity Diagnostic.

You retain ownership of materials, information, data, trademarks, documents, and other intellectual property that you provide to Sunshine Matter.

Sunshine Matter retains ownership of its pre-existing and independently developed intellectual property, including its frameworks, methodologies, systems, models, diagnostic methods, scoring methods, processes, templates, tools, research methods, know-how, reusable components, and proprietary materials.

This includes, where applicable, Sunshine Matter intellectual property such as the CI Operating System™, Managing Differences™, and the underlying Culture Capacity Diagnostic methodology.

If Sunshine Matter’s intellectual property is incorporated into a final client deliverable, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use that incorporated material as part of the final deliverable for your organization’s internal business purposes.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Sunshine Matter’s underlying frameworks, methodologies, diagnostic mechanics, templates, tools, and other Background Intellectual Property are not transferred to the client.
